The mission of the Industrial Assets Management Group is to provide specialized maintenance services, asset maintenance goals, and peak load work management in a timely manner. The Commission's production and conveyance systems are among the world's best. Consequently, they are also some of the most complex. The Industrial Assets Management Group purposes to maintain a staff of highly qualified people of different disciplines in order to apply best practices for asset management and to efficiently effect repairs and modifications.
This cross functional team of maintenance strategists, engineers, electricians, instrumentation technicians, welders, carpenters, machinists, and maintenance contract administrators work closely to support the wide and varied needs of the WSSC's assets.
